roch ndt services is an industry leader and independent non-destructive testing (NDT) organisation specializing in structural stability testing and analysis of lighting columns throughout the UK. We've been doing this since 1997 with extraordinary customer support that is paramount to who we are.

roch ndt services offers the only conclusive test method available in the UK to calculate and simulate real-life loadings on a column and accurately assesses attachments or additional loadings. Also, we provide an Ultrasonic (Loss of Section) test method and a handheld roch ndt services test method, which are utilised to comply with specific requirements across all transportation sectors we serve. This includes street lighting, railways, airports, and seaports.

As a specialty test house, we do not carry out any maintenance to lighting columns or associated work during our testing. As such, we do not have other business interests that might potentially present a conflict.

The unique roch ndt services force deflection test uses highly accurate state-of-the-art technology and is derived from proven structural engineering principles. It enables us to detect any fault or fatigue in a column through all the critical areas. No other method does this.

The stability test involves the application of a push force and a pull force in two different axes – enabling all critical areas of the structure to be tested without altering or modifying it. The applied force and the displacement of the column are measured simultaneously, with the incoming data graphically visualised, allowing easy analysis using a force-deflection graph. This allows on-site results. As part of our quality assurance process, all results undergo secondary analysis before reports are issued.

roch ndt services is accredited with Risqs (Verified + Sentinel), HERS Accreditation, CHAS, the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) and affiliated with the Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP).
